Privacy Policy

Need to delete your account? You can do that in the Predictify app under Settings → Privacy Policy (password required). If you have uninstalled the app, request deletion on the web at https://app.predictify.co.uk/delete-account.
This privacy policy explains how Predictify (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you use the Predictify app on iPhone, iPad, Android, or desktop.
Who we are
Predictify is a football score-prediction app. You compete in private leagues with people you invite. We do not run a public discussion board, take payments, or offer social-network sign-in.

Data we collect
We only collect what we need to run your account and leagues:
- Account: email address and password (stored by our authentication provider, not in plain text). We send confirmation and password-reset emails to that address.
- Profile: first name, last name, display name, timezone, language, optional favourite team or country, default competition, whether your profile is private, and whether you want product emails or kick-off reminders.
- Gameplay: score predictions, joker picks, league membership, league settings you create (including optional sweepstake display amounts), and related scores or achievements.
- On-device settings: theme, language, and reminder preferences stored on your device. The camera is used only when you choose to scan a league invite QR code. You can also pick a photo from your device so we can read a league invite QR code on that image. Photos are processed on your device and are not stored or uploaded.
We do not collect phone numbers, payment cards, advertising IDs, or precise location. We do not use Facebook, Google, or Microsoft login. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account, and to show your name to other members of leagues you join.
- To run predictions, leaderboards, invites (including QR codes and share links), and optional local kick-off reminders.
- To send service email (confirm address, reset password) and, if you leave product emails on, occasional updates about the app.
- To keep the service secure, fix bugs, and meet legal obligations.
Your email address is not shown to other players. Names and predictions in a league can be seen by other members of that league.
Sweepstakes
If a league owner turns on sweepstake display, they can enter fees and prize splits for their own group’s records. Predictify does not collect, hold, or pay money. Any real-world settlement is between members, outside the app, and must follow the law where they live. Apple is not a sponsor of any sweepstake or contest.
Who we share data with
We host accounts and app data with infrastructure providers that process it on our instructions (currently Supabase for authentication, database, and related functions). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our users or the service.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the Predictify app: Settings → Privacy Policy (password required). You can also request deletion on the web at https://app.predictify.co.uk/delete-account (for people who no longer have the app installed).
Account deletion
Deleting your account signs you out and removes your ability to sign in. We anonymise personal details such as your name and email. Historical predictions and scores stay in leagues as “Deleted User” so other members’ standings still make sense. Leagues you own alone are deleted. If you own a league that still has other members, transfer ownership first, then delete your account.

Cookies and similar technology
Our marketing website does not use advertising cookies or analytics. The Predictify app does not use advertising cookies. The app stores a signed-in session and preferences on your device so you stay logged in and keep your settings.
Children
Predictify is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this privacy policy
If we change this policy we will update it in the app and on our website. If a change is significant we may also email registered users.
